pitfalls of travel planning

so, it looks like my transmediteranean ferry trip isnt going to work out this summer... not enough time/scheduling conflicts... jane was going to do it with me, and we had narrowed down where we wanted to go, but she doesnt finish teachin til june, and i had wanted to go in late april/early may... since most of those places get ubertouristy the longer the summer drags on... but, we'd decided this was what we would do... barcelona genoa corsica tunisia malta dubrovnik athens crete santorini istanbul too bad it wont be this summer... but, i'll probably get over there for a little while... so, maybe i'll fly to italy and take the ferry down to tunisia... cameltreks anyone? or, depending on when/who can go, a little camino santiago action... or go back to bohemia and search for svejk.
