so the cruise had an excursion\airport transfer to the everglades... it was only partially a tourist trap, but still, it was fun to get on an airboat and go through what seemed to be some tame parts of the everglades to me... (tame cause you still could see some of th
e taller buildings in fort lauderdale) so, the only gator we saw was a little one sunning himself right next to the boat dock... then we got on our air boat, and went off into the 'glades for a little look, which was cool. and then, we came back and had to listen to a talk about how the seminoles were so smart and blah blah, never beaten by the

s... blah blah blah... but, it was amusing. good way to kill a morning... get out in the country and see some everglade
s stuff... my mom did that when she was a girl growing up in florida... and yet, they never took us kids down to that part of florida... but mom took me this time, so, it was nice... and then we went to the airport and flew home, and spring break was over.
