So, for 9.11 we went up to New York City... plenty of pictures from
other trips to new york, so we'll just put some of these up. we moored at pier 88 for a night, which was awesome. love that place since you just walk straight, and 5 streets later you're in time square. after that, we shifted to an anchorage off staten island. and then, on 9.11 we got und
erway, and anchored off the world trade center site... and stayed there until the ceremony was over, then shifted back to our original anchorage. then, we went to the jets/cowboys game. woody johnson came through and gave us 175 tickets. it was a pretty bad game until the 4th quarter, when the cowboys gave up the game. the secretary of the navy also came
and visited the ship... gave several of us our m
