so, for the honeymoon, we flew to miami and then took the train to pompano beach for the night before we left on the cruise... we saw cha
ro in the airport in miami. she was on the escalator right in front of us... that was odd. she looked old and was in pink. the train was interesting. there were a bunch of people riding the train that had decided not to spend the money on a ticket. then a policeman got on the train and checked tickets and wrote the majority of the people on the train a citation for not having a ticket... which was good.
the hotel we stayed at was beachfront, we had a huge room, and it was a spanish colonial design... the hotel was interesting. sort of redneck riviera-esque. we were both tired from having been up for a long time... so we didnt do much. the hotel had a nice view so we just enjo
yed that. that sunday we checked out of the hotel and waited for a cab to take us to port everglades for to get on the cruise ship. we got to the ship slightly early, and then, getting onto the ship was ridiculously easy. we dropped off our bags at the taxi, went into the terminal, went to the concierge class check in and breezed through and onto the ship. the ship left out of fort lauderdale, and went to san juan, puerto rico, sint maarten, dutch west indies, and st thomas, us virgin islands. we chose a 7 day cruise with only 3 port calls because it gave us more time to just relax instead of going crazy with port calls every day and sight seeing.
