15 Requiem:
Under the wide and starry sky
Dig the grave and let me lie:
Glad did I live and gladly die,
And I laid me down with a will.
This be the verse you 'grave for me:
Here he lies where he long'd to be;
Home is the sailor, home from the sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
-Robert Louis Stevenson
What does Svejk von Follet mean?
It's not too complicated. Svejk is the name of the protagonist in my favourite novel, The Good Soldier Svejk by Jaroslav Hasek, about a czech soldier in the Austrian Army during the first world war... svejk has lots of misadventures that somehow just work out... the book has gotten me through many restless nights at school, college, law school, and grad school... von is simple, it's a title of ennoblement... and naturally, follet is the island that surfside, my original hometown is on... follet's island. so yeah, that is the name.
