about an hour outside of mexico city is teotihucan, a

pre-columbian

complex that was built by people that werent aztec... the temple of the moon and the temple of the sun are the two big pyramids at the site. the base of the pyramid of the sun is the same as the great pyramid at giza... but, not as high... as of, when i was there, you can still climb up to the top, its nice and steep too. good fun. the annoying part of teotihucan are the hawkers selling carved obsidian, tshirts, jewelry and whatever else people will buy. some of them stop when you say no thank you, and some of them follow you alot. it's a hassle, but, it's not too bad.
