ok, so here are some pictures of my flat in london... its in a nice neighbourhood in chelsea not too far from the tube stop.
today i went to the national gallery. it was huge. but it was nice, because there were

soo many pictures i had seen in art history classes back in college... carravagios, reynolds, that famous holbein paintin with the 3d lookin skull... the famous van dyck portrait of charles I, and one of richelieu, and some of everybody really... i skipped the impressionists because they suck. its not art. the one thing that i did notice that kinda bugged me was they had a huge painting of colonel banastre tarlton... the leader of the british legion cavalry during the revolution...

he was the boy that massacred abunch of southern troops after they had surrendered after they'd been defeated... and there he is, in all his glory. standing there with his horse and sword... i was offended. granted, only id be offended at that... but still. he's only there because the painting was painted by a famous portrait painter... i'm still outraged. and this, with a statue of george washington in front...
